Welcome to my newly-designed website and my first official blog post. As a writer, I’m a little behind the blogging curve (I’m a pretty old guy, after all) but I’m looking forward to sharing my views on a variety of topics. For now, I just want to say that I’m happy I started my little writing adventure at the beginning of the millenium. My novels, “Dice Angel” and “Money Shot,” may not be great literature, but people have told me the books are fun and have given them a taste of the “real Las Vegas.” Assuming such a place actually exists.
The best part of this for me is hearing from total strangers who have connected with my work. Folks from all over the world have taken the time to drop me a line, saying they were emotionally moved or laughed out loud or thought about something in a new way. For a writer, there’s no better feeling. Everything else is just gravy.
I look forward to a continuing dialogue with you. After all, communication is a two-way street. Stay tuned.
